Had the same thing with my 2012 300 SRT tried 4 dealers and had it out with the 4th car was a nightmare to have warranted.

Agreed 110%

These dealers won't replace a valve stem cap without a fight and not to mention they even try to point blame on you. Man do I have some horror stories!

They did but there was some dealing involved. But this is the 5th Jeep that I have heard of blowing. The reason the whipple 2.9 I have will be sitting on the bench in my garage until I decide if I want to build the whole motor. I have no problem dropping the money into it but it has to be reliable.

Re: Done with the SRT - my story

Mine is about to be shipped up to Livernois to be built. We'll see where it goes from there.

But, yes, I wouldn't build one again without starting with the bottom-end.

All the name calling is uncalled for man I get that you don't like him. There are mechanics out there that will hook you up. I had an injector replaced on my gt500 under warranty with a big kenne bell and a boost pump looking them right in the face. Should it have be covered? Absolutely not but they did. I did not even ask them to do it. And I know for a fact the dealer here will warranty my jeep even with the mods. Now the Audi dealer here is a pain and I had to fight every time my Q7 went in.

Re: Done with the SRT - my story

Now Procharger is offering a kit direct. Interesting to see what happens there. I've always written off the SCs for our vehicle considering none of the big 3 seemed interested in touching the WK2s..that would be Vortech, Procharger, and Paxton.

This.

A little rant. Even without that I didn't like him. I despise parents who buy their kids vehicles like that when they didn't earn it. I grew up with plenty of friends with very wealthy parents and most had the class not to purchase adult vehicles for them. My best friend had an uninvolved flashy dad who gave him a brand new 996 Carrera 4S for his 17th birthday in High School. Total schmuck move. My buddy drove it for a few months before he was finally embarrassed and gave it back. I respected him a lot for that decision. Our YOLO generation nowadays would never do such a thing.

I could be worth $500mm and my kid would never get anything fancy on my dime. Go to work and earn it yourself. A used Grand Cherokee Laredo? That I could understand. Retards nowadays say "You're just jelly" or "haters gonna hate". Possibly the two dumbest phrases I've ever heard. Going around showing shit off on instagram.

Re: Done with the SRT - my story

I agree with most of that, but there are some good kids out there that appreciate what they have. I'm one of them and although I wasn't given the dream car to start, my parents did get me a new car when I went to college (no, it wasn't a Porsche ). I worked my ass off in school and have always appreciated what my parents were able to provide. I still thank my parents for what they provided me growing up.

Some kids are punks for sure, but there are some out there that aren't.

Re: Done with the SRT - my story

^ Agreed. I was given a loaded Honda Accord when I graduated college. My dad does very well and could have given me a Murcielago if he wanted. I'm fortunate enough that he's brought me into his business and trained (in process) me to be his successor. The difference is he didn't say "hey son I'm going to start you off at $100k per year and we'll have you at $250k in a few". I've started from the bottom and my pay has been in line with what he'd pay anyone in my position. It's built character but it's given me a distaste for the punks who act like they're big shit when they haven't earned it.

Sorry to hijack your thread on this. Just a subject that's come up a lot in my life recently and felt like spilling the beans
