Re: Eco Lamp when in Fuel Saver Mode?
While "stuck" in moderate traffic for quite a long stretch, I started to play around with ACC and MPG, resetting average MPG once in a while. The most surprising result was when the traffic was traveling between 48 - 54 MPH - the EVIC (both average and current) reported 28 MPG! This was about 5 miles of mostly flat road. I suspect that only 4 cylinders were firing, but still.....
However, once the traffic thinned, and the speed went to 75+, the MPG hovered around 17 LOL.
I didn't look for the eco light, but I did hear the switch to and from 4 cylinders - accompanied by a significant change in MPG.
Note, I have a 2014 Jeep WK2 SRT.
