Eibach Questions

Im about to do Eibach's and I'm thinking about doing what many other members have done and only do the rear. My first question is what is the issue with having to have the lights adjusted??? Shouldn't the lights level them selves on a 14???? 2nd Question has anyone had any alignment problems???? and lastly i do autocross my Jeep and i don't want to effect the handling and I'm concerned using the stock fronts with eibach rears might affect handling?????

Oh and will this have any effect on towing???

Re: Eibach Questions

I had a lot of alignment problems but I did the full set. My advice is don't mess with aftermarket shops. The current gen GC is very difficult to align, go to your dealer.

Re: Eibach Questions

No issues with alignment. Did fronts and rear, but my lights had to be turned way Down, but no issues

After 1 year I have a slight shimmy in the steering wheel, so maybe the Michigan roads messed with it or maybe with 7k on the Pirelli they need a help

Re: Eibach Questions

my local dealer sent my Jeep out last time for an alignment... They claimed they didn't have the proper specs to align an SRT.... The shop they sent it to did a great job and I'm probably going to let them do the springs.

Re: Eibach Questions

No issues with mine in relation to alignment as well as running the fronts on the rear. The only reason I swapped in factory cut rears was due to me feeling that the ride was TOO SOFT but it was not horrible. You will not be able to tow... If you have any plans to tow ever, then do not put the fronts in the rear. Or just purchase the mid drop road magnets from chad at black ops BLACK OPS Auto Works

Re: Eibach Questions

Dealer replaced a damaged speed sensor under warranty after the install, and they didn't do the install.

I also have a slight shimmy in the steering wheel that I didn't have before. I'm also wondering if my tires are out of round

Re: Eibach Questions

I see your in Houston... What dealer are you using??? my local dealer here sucks and after they just damaged 4 wheels i will not be using them again. Does Houston have a mod friendly dealer that i won't have any issues with?

Re: Eibach Questions

I was using Helfman on I-10 but one of their runners stole some lottery tickets with $80 worth of winnings that were hidden at the bottom of my console under a pile of papers. Now I've switched over to helfman river oaks which is owned by a different member of the helfman family. They've been good. Other members here also speak very highly of Allen Samuels

Re: Eibach Questions

I also heard about Allen Samuels but they didn't say if they were a mod friendly dealership. I'm not going to be doing much other than my springs but i don't want them giving me crap about a 1.1" drop... I mean we all know the shocks can take a 1.1" drop because your gonna drop more than that when your towing.
