Re: Electronic Cutouts on WK2 SRT

Finally getting around to looking for a set. What is the exhaust pipe dimension that is correct for WK2?

Hope pointing the cut outs straight down isn't bad, but here they are installed.... Right after the cats before the suitcase muffler in the center. It's a noise maker for sure. Dunno if it's really worth the money. Cool to have them installed to turn up the volume real quick. I'm actually content with the stock exhaust these days as we take the truck on road trips often...

I actually want to install cutouts like you did then make a pipe with flanges to bolt to the cutouts that will essentially be an h pipe to test what the exhaust will sound and perform with an h pipe. If I like it i can remove the pipe and weld it in somewhere down the line. The best part of this little test is that i can use the cutout to switch back and forth while recording a video. If it was not worth it, i can just toss the part.

Makes perfect sense, if it's just temporary you don't have to worry much about clearance. Invested in the results of your test....

Probably pretty cheap to build with autozone exhaust parts and some exhaust gasket material
