End-Link Photo Comparison - BWP vs BlackOps

I just remembered, though, what was perhaps my favorite characteristic of these BWoody links...

I DID grease them, as you can see in the pics, but due to the dissimilar metals, the hardened steel zerks installed in the aluminum link shaft body would actually rust themselves shut on a regular basis. As you can see from the pics above, the left link actually LOST its zerk fitting because the aluminum rotted so badly that the threads were gone. Good times.

BWoody end links are crap-- shop accordingly!

Not to be "nit-picky", but you're a little confused.......Those links you pictured may indeed be BWoody links, and they may have cracked, but they are certainly NOT heim links! They're bushings, probably polyurethane.

I was going off of the dealer's description in an email to me... Since I didn't install them, I don't have first-hand knowledge what the pivot point was.

It was a dealer to dealer stock transfer- - the original dealer put all this crap on to sweeten the deal since they couldn't move it, so when my dealer approached them about doing a stock transfer, they didn't tell them a handful of mods, including these damn links, had been done.

Re: End-Link Photo Comparison - BWP vs BlackOps

I just installed my Black Ops Auto end links. Front and back.
Overall impressions are as follows.

Black ops customer service - 10/10
Shipping - 10/10 & super fast.
Install - 10/10 - pretty easy.

The install was easy, but the removal was a nightmare. YOU NEED GOOD VICE GRIPS, or dont even try.

The product looks and feels strong, especially when compared to the OEM part. The clunking in my front end was immediately remedied. As far as durability, I wont knowtill I drive with them for a while, I just hope they last more than 80000km.

Overall, good service, good product. A little bit pricey.

The issue was however the strength of the bolts used. I went through two revisions that the threading stripped causing knocking. Chad had impeccable customer service getting them replaced and no issues since.
