Re: Exhaust Question

It's sounds great but I just wanted more aggressive. You don't know I guess until you hear it live. I'm an instant kind of guy. That's why I had 3 SRT GC , durango rt and 7 Shelbys in the last year. Maybe I'm just used to my Shelby gt350 sound

Re: Exhaust Question

Borla axle or catback?

Should give the aFe a go. My guess is with one one muffler per side, it's the loudest catback short of the GTHaus.

Re: Exhaust Question

Summit is great. They took it back and are sending borla atak axle back. I've had that before and I liked it. It's nice to because when I start it in the morning it annoys my neighbor!

There is nothing quite like that! I went from an 04 Cobra to a fully built 07 GT500 and now the Jeep. You wont get that Mustang sound from a stock 6.4L. GTHaus is as good as it gets

Summit refunded you full price on an installed system? Wow

Re: Exhaust Question

I'm not looking for a gt500 sound from my jeep. I guess I was looking for my borla sound on my last 2 GC SRT but with a little more like on their video. Now as good as it sounds live is not what the video sounds. But who cares, I'll have my beast running the way I want no matter what.

Re: Exhaust Question

Ha ha.! Car junkies. I know the feeling. Sucks to have something bother you and keep swapping out parts. Good luck on the next exhaust.
I personally like the GT Haus

Re: Exhaust Question

Now your supposed to cut 3" from the weld seam near the axle for the borla but the 2016 doesn't have a weld seam. I guess I'm going to have to line it up a different way somehow.

Just have someone help you hold it up and mark a line with a sharpie at the end of the exhaust and cut 3" back from that to allow overlap at the joint. That's what I did on my 2015...

Re: Exhaust Question

Borla Installed! Thank god.! SO much better. I do wish I knew about GT Haus, I'm still intrigued but will hold off.

Did you go with the cat back or axle back? Looking at getting the catback for my 16.
