I am not sure what your problem and question is.
Little confused as well. What are you asking or attempting to do?

Re: EXPORT DRL Mod possible breakthrough

Just remember scotchlocks after a while are about as good as an ashtray on a motorbike. They will cause issues later on. Just make them temporary and you should be ok. Great thread though. Hoping my GC will finally get on the ship soon after sitting unloaded from rail car for over 2.5 weeks and I can tackle this

Re: EXPORT DRL Mod possible breakthrough

I attempted this on a 2015 the other day. We still need to add the wire to the harness for '15+ models like before as there is no wire present in Pin#3.

Re: EXPORT DRL Mod possible breakthrough

Thought I would chime in here as I have the US model with Euro headlights...I am using CLS Tech's kit that I had on my old stock US lights.

Not sure I have anything valuable to add here but just wanted to say what I know given that I have the US model with the Euro headlights.

Additionally, the AFS does not work on my lights and I get an error at every startup. Wondering if anyone out there can think of a fix for that ?

If the error started when you installed the euro lights the dealership can run an auto calibration on the headlights to clear the error.

If the error happened before out after the headlight install you may need to replace the damaged wire going to the low beam "position 1".

I'm aware of the headlight calibration as my headlights were replaced for water intrusion.

Re: EXPORT DRL Mod possible breakthrough

You sent me a PM on how you had the same issue when you had to replace one of your headlights. They said they had no idea what to do and could not fix it. Yes, it happened after I installed the Euro lights. From what they said (take this with a grain of salt), the wiring is different.

I have Mike @ Clearcorners.com working on my old stock ones (clearing out the orange and possibly adding more LEDs)...we will see what he comes up with !

I remember now. They are correct, the circuitry could be different...
