Hey all,
New to the forum. Just picked up a '15 JGC SRT and was wondering who has the best deals on extended warranty plans. I am still under factory warranty, but want the peace of mind for future. Thanks in advance and I look forward to soaking in all of the knowledge you guys and gals are throwing out around here!

Ziegler will give you a fair price. If you plan to keep the jeep long term the Chrysler lifetime maximum care is the one to go for. it covers your mechanical/electrical for unlimited miles and unlimited years. I paid $2100 for mine 3 years ago not sure what the going rate currently is. Many of the third party service contracts out there can be trouble when it comes time to use them. there are lots of threads here you can search on concerning service contracts, maxcare is praised by most on here the key is if you plan to keep the jeep for a decent amount of time.

That's a great idea but unfortunately the SRT products don't qualify for lifetime coverage

I've never heard of a rebate on the warranty. If you bought it with the car, maybe they just said the rebate applied to it instead of reducing the price somewhere else. It's impassible for them to sell a warranty at that price without them losing money. But if you somehow struck a magical deal, good on you!

The lifetimes I knew were no longer an option on new SRT products, 2014 and older still qualify unless that has changed - I bought mine less than 2 months ago. If they got rid of lifetime for everything now, that would be a real shame.

Got my MVP Max Care Lifetime $100 deduc on my '15 SRT for $2,695 in Jan this yr....never heard of rebates on them so $1999 for this is interesting to say the least.... awesome if u got it somehow tho...

Damn.. Am in NY and had to pay $4k for my max care.. I have a 2014 Srt.. But like someone else said max care is the way to go. $100 de.. And you get a courtesy car for 5 days. The fact that they may not offer this for the hellcat jeep I won't be getting it.

I missed the LIFETIME Maxcare deal by about a month. Prior to me acquiring my '15 Jeep SRT I was looking around the market for the best rates and the lifetime warranty was still available at the time but i didn't pull the trigger on it because, well, I hadn't bought my rig yet. And of course as my luck would have it, by the time I was ready to go forward with an extended warranty...FCA no longer had the lifetime warranty available. So...my search continues. Ziegler quoted me $1580 for the Maxcare 7/75,000 (which I was talked down too from the 8/120,000 because I would only be driving about 10k miles a year). I may go for the 7/100,000 Maxcare option though.

pisser...onward...check out this Michigan CDJR dealer, if I clicked the right stuff they are offering the MVP Maxcare 7/75 $100 deduc for $1,320 and who knows might shave a few cents if called...ignore the sick tease of a Lifetime at the bottom as they obviously have a web script issue...if you prefer Bob Cline at Ziegler maybe lay this on him to see what he can wrangle....good luck.

Are you SURE you're only going to drive 10K miles a year? If so, good for you! I wish I could drive my vehicles that little... seems more like 20K a year for me LOL. That would be my only fear in getting a low mileage warranty. Running out of it too soon, and also, unless something crazy happens, nothing should break under 75K. Plus you have 100K powertrain.

That is why I opted for the lifetime. Odds are if anything breaks, it's past whatever use those other warranties would have offered anyway.

Just got the email from FCA about extending my stock one. Talked with a Ron Schaefer at Mopar Service Plans and they will extend it to 9/19 or 60k miles for $1,870 or 9/20 at 60k miles for $2,050. Im at 15k miles now so there's no way I hit 60k. 0% financing over 24 months plus If I dont use the warranty once, they will refund the entire cost back to me. Max Care Money Back Guarantee

Haven't really had any issues at all. Just software updates. What would those cost out of warranty?

I dont plan on keeping this thing forever so it would be nice to sell it with the extended warranty. I do all my own maintenance work though so I would only take it for something catastrophic. Hmmmmm
