Re: Extra Black, Hold the Chrome please

Awesome ride! Is it possible to take a photo of the tinted tail lights with the lights illuminated? Thinking about doing this to my '14. Thanks!

Re: Extra Black, Hold the Chrome please

Yours looks real good. The '14's are growing on me more and more.
Must be black though! Definitely more pics when the trim and tint are done.

Re: Extra Black, Hold the Chrome please

Did you paint or vinyl wrap the front end chrome bits? It looks insane. I'm supposed to pick up my black '14 next week and I need to do this mod right away!

Gold Coast Auto Body on Division. They've done all the work on all my vehicles. They're the only place I let touch my babies.

Absolutely! I finished the deal on a white one and then at the last minute changed back to black. I'm so glad I did. You can't ever go wrong with black and nothing looks better than a clean murdered out truck.

Yes, flat. The wheels and rear emblems are all flat. The wheels were powder-coated. It was a bitch I was told b/c they had to do an extra chemical stripping process on top of sandblasting to correctly prep and remove the black chrome from the factory.

Thanks - I had all the parts removed and professionally painted. Thanks to Jeep making the front bumper assembly all one piece now on the '14s this mod just became much more expensive.

Finally was home long enough to get her over the shop to get rid of all the chrome - I honestly don't understand why Jeep doesn't offer the truck this way as an additional package. Everyone wants the chrome removed anyway and this way Jeep would make the money instead of everyone but Jeep.

Enjoy the pics . . . matching the front window tint and wrapping the window trim as soon as I get a minute
Oh damn that's hot. Well done, sir!

Any chance of a shot from the front 3/4? If you don't mind that would make a great screensaver on my laptop till I update my old JGC.

Re: Extra Black, Hold the Chrome please

Damn. Paid for black chrome and stripped them? I would have at least traded someone for $300 or not ordered them. The rest of the jeep looks great though.
