Re: Finally delivered Downunder

modding is coming to a stand waiting on more parts to be hydro dipped was to be ready a week ago not happy. maybe by Friday.

Also I have been to see a couple of places about vinyl wrapping the roof first one gave me a time but when I came was not ready and said call back in a couple of days and see how he's going. Second one looked at the car and said because he hasn't done a jeep before wanted to look up information on Jeeps before taking on the job. (he was wrapping a Ferrari at the time). A 3 week wait for rims is now a 7 week wait. Checked out the price of a GTHaus in Australia over 5 grand plus fitting so now looking for an exhaust shop in Perth to talk to about doing an exhaust for me. Time to go for a drive to make me feel good.

Re: Finally delivered Downunder

Engine dress up kit finally arrived from Billet Technology installed but have the wrong fuse box cover I'm still experimenting with Hydro Dipping have done the engine covers and the CAI just need to finish off high lighting the lettering on covers Next is to install the CAI. Talking myself into and out of stripping the external gloss black parts off and having them as carbon fiber but that will be a January decision.

Re: Finally delivered Downunder

Had word from the vinyl wrapper the Jeeps roof can be done this weekend finally. Will need to try to fit the CAI before that. Mods coming along slowly will get some pictures after the roof is done. Still hanging out for the rims to come they are on a slow boat from USA.

Re: Finally delivered Downunder

Fitted the Bwoody CAI today a bit of fiddling to make it fit still have to install the washer bottle and pumps. The extension cabling was missing so will need to do something about that. The roof was wrapped over the weekend (at last). The car goes in for detailing tomorrow so will take a few pictures with a decent camera when cleaned up. Still waiting for new rims and tires and finishing off de-chroming the exterior.

Re: Finally delivered Downunder

How is the interior going. I am very keen to get the silver trim in carbon fibre to match the rest of the interior.
