Re: Finally delivered Downunder

Tires and rims finally turned up they were shipped from the east coast balanced ready to be fitted I asked them to be fitted with tire pressure monitors. Wrong they came fitted with standard valves and the pressure monitors came in a bag which means I now have to fit the new valves rebalance the wheels before I fit them to the SRT. Not a happy chappie.

Re: Finally delivered Downunder

Started to fit the new rims and tyres to the SRT this morning the rears went on looking good well worth waiting 5 months for them. THEN I fitted the fronts the offset was wrong they did not clear the Brembo's so I"ve had to take them off really annoyed. Will have to wait until Tuesday to ring the shop I bought them from the problem it is in Sydney on the other side of Australia. The rims were suppose to fit but I don't think they took into account they were for a SRT not the standard Grand Cherokee.
So the search for 22 inch rims continue

Re: Finally delivered Downunder

The rims are 22 x 10 Lexani css15 and the tyres are 285 x 35 I am hoping I can get the correct offset and it wont take another 5 months.

Re: Finally delivered Downunder

I think you will find the clearance problem is nothing to do with offset, but the design of the rim. My FPV has the 6/4 Brembos and it was very hard to get rims that fit.
I hope you have in writing that they will clear the Brembos, or you may be in fr shipping charges back East.

Have you considered adding a spacer? It might help and cut down wait times for you.

Re: Finally delivered Downunder

Finally fitted my 22 X10 inch rims but still need to fit the TPMs. Had to fit 8mm spacers on the front to clear the Brembs no problems with the rears.

The rims are Lexani css15 22x10 and tyres are Lizetti 285/35R22 I will be changing them later for something different.

The rims bring the tyres out to the edge of the body and with the lower springs not sure if it will be a problem rubbing when I have weight in the rear.

Re: Finally delivered Downunder

Fitted the Black Ops control arms last week and was able to square up the rear alignment. Now I am waiting for Black Ops to release the end links.

Re: Finally delivered Downunder

Nice setup. Looks damn good. Hella flush and sits really nice. Looks dangerously close to rubbing up front but pictures can be deceiving. Good job man!

Re: Finally delivered Downunder

Modifications to my SRT so far,

22x10 Lexani rims, 285/35R22 tyres, Black Ops control arms, RM springs 1.8 inch drop front and rear, BWoody links, Hawk front pads, StopTech rear pads, GTHAUS exhaust system with remote control, BWoody CAI, Billet Tech Catch Can and engine dress kit, Vinyl wrapped roof, Hydro dipped parts under hood in red carbon fiber and external gloss black parts carbon fiber dipped.

Still trying to black out the chrome around the windows but finding it hard to get someone willing to do it.
