Re: Finally Got Her Done (For Now) - Photos

Thank you all. It's a little different but the public really seems to like it and I'm happy with the outcome. It's really fun to take to the drag strip and then whip a bunch of hard core racers with the "show car". I have a lot of people come around the car between races in the pits when I have the hood open to cool her down. The Jeep has really got me back into the hobby like it did when I first got my Magnum SRT8 in 2006. Now I have a "Tored" Challenger Hellcat coming some time in the future to park next to the Jeep. We're doing my garage in a red & black theme in preparation for the new one. I'll take some photos and post them on this thread soon. Thanks again for all the kind words!

And does your jeep worth more with all the investment you put into it?
Luckily, I am in a position where it isn't that big a deal. I did the car for me. I think I can find the right person when, and if, I sell it. I may end up leaving it for
the kids along with the Hellcat I have on order. I really love this Jeep.
Best thing I've done as far as car purchase goes.

Looks nice. I have the same laser jammers, how is that mounting location working for you? Have you tested it? I'm not sure where I want to put mine but I believe you generally want them up closer to the headlights. I guess you had to cut a hole to fit them there?

I had the guy I bought them from mount it so I'm not sure, but I don't think he drilled holes but he may have. He was trying to hide it under that lip and also separated the other two components inside the cockpit to make them hard to see if ever pulled over. Of course you can turn the lights off and then they're almost impossible to detect from outside the car. They work fantastic. I pick up K band from a long ways away and the "instant on" jammer has only gone off once and I didn't get pulled over while speeding, so I'll assume that it is working as well. Been a year with no tickets and I drive this thing pretty hard all of the time. Keeping my fingers crossed as I got my safe driver rating back a few years ago after picking up 3 quick radar tickets in the Magnum SRT8 before I added the K-40 system to it and then none since. That was the first thing I did to the SRT. These things really help I believe. The only think that is annoying is all the cars (like ours) with all the radar lane protection devices. It's nice that these things mute after a second or so and just the lights flash to alert you.

Well. Here's a photo of the new garage floor we are preparing for the Red Challenger Hellcat. A little blurry as I took it with my phone but you'll get the picture. (so to speak)

Turned out great. We have black and gray in our garage. I'm really digging the black and red!

Interesting because ive been looking at garage flooring the past few days.
Some areas of my epoxy floor are peeling so I was researching alternatives and found RaceDeck to be the best option. After pricing RaceDesk out ill probably go with porcelain tile since it'll be half the price.
What did you go with?

Thanks. I love the combo too. We started to hang some posters. Here is the garage door to the side yard with a couple. We won a great professionally painted photo at a car show in Garden Grove a few Friday nights ago in their raffle that will be the last thing we hang. I'll have my photographer come over and shoot the finished product and put up a link like I did on the Jeep. It should look pretty neat when we get done I think. (hope?)

Here is what it said on my Amazon account.
3 of BlockTile R0US4212 Interlocking Ramp Edges Without Loop, Black, 14-Packfficeffice" />>>
Sold by:ModuTile>>
I ordered 350 sq. ft. of tiles, (they are 1' squares) or as close to that with the 14-Pack sizes, plus the borders on 3 sides and I paid just under $900.00 if that helps you compare. A buddy of mine laid them down with a rubber mallet in about 2-3 hours total. I only helped with the first 4 rows (laid them out as he put them in) and he came over while I was at the office and did the rest by himself. Nice to have friends like that! Hope this info helps. They're polypropylene I believe. They're really solid but sound hollow when you walk on them. I love them so far.
