Re: Flowmaster exhaust

Yeah I was curious as well but I figured lack of support on here wasnt the best sign so I ordered the Borla S.

Re: Flowmaster exhaust

I have no mufflers by the rear bumper, and it sounds great. I really think 4 bullet mufflers would be a great setup. Cut out the middle muffler, cut out the two by the bumper and replace them with two bullets per pipe. The sound deadening of these is really good, so there is really only the sound of mds.

At any rate, be sure to post videos.

I was honestly thinking of doing this I have the same set up want it to be louder though without losing performance what type of bullet mufflers are out there

Re: Flowmaster exhaust

Borla xr-1, moroso spirals, magnaflow bullets. Really summit should show some different brands, but they should all sound awesome.

Re: Flowmaster exhaust

Finally got to it today...haven't had time to get a video yet but overall very satisfied. Not much difference at idle...little louder on cold start and then settles down to a touch louder than stock. Most noticeable on full throttle and downshift. No way for me to video outside sound under full throttle as I am down in south Florida for a few months and don't really have any friends down here to help out. My recommendation is if you are on the fence about not making your ride too loud but noticeably different....this is the way to go. From my un professional view I think it is a little louder than the borla atak but not by much. No drone...probably the sound which should have been this way from stock. Very simple job for the muffler shop...charged me $75. I would say it is very close to a muffler delete as their really isn't any guts to the muffler just something like a little thick insulation around the pipe....if you know what I mean.
