Fog light bouncing

I've been noticing my fog light bouncing/flickering in cars paint reflection in front of me on the highway and highway signs. This obviously is not normal. Is there a way to fix this myself like something loose or do I have to bring it back to the dealer, with no loaner and wait there for an hour or two?

Re: Fog light bouncing

I do have the rivets and setter. My friend was in front of me today and I asked him to look. Within 50 ft he pulled over and said that my passenger side was out of control, looked like a police strobe. Before I drill and remove is it possible it's just a loose fitting?

Re: Fog light bouncing

How does the bulb feel in the harness? Is it tight? How about the housing itself, any play in that when trying to wiggle it? That is weird...have replaced a couple fog light bulbs on WK2/SRT's but can't recall how I reached them (did not pull any bumpers)...access through the fenders and wheel turned for each side IIRC. Good luck...let us know what you find out

Re: Fog light bouncing

One of 3 things...

1. Loose projector inside the bracket as a result of not being clipped in/broken clips, or the adjustment screw is loose/stripped/missing.

2. The bracket itself that holds the projector is loose.

3. Somehow damaged/loose light assembly.

I'm guessing you have a '16, which has the LED fogs. I'd just take it to the dealer and let them fix it.
