FR 22" air pressure

Hey guys. For those of you running FR 22's, what air pressure are you running? Just got some service done, and noticed they aired tires up to 42 lbs. That seems high to me. Thanks.

Re: FR 22" air pressure

I would think 42 is extremely high... Interested in others recommended PSI

Re: FR 22" air pressure

What is the max pressure listed on the sidewall of the tires?

Re: FR 22" air pressure

Says max is 51. However, I'm pretty sure I was running mid-low 30s prior to service.

Well at least it doesn't exceed the max pressure. It may be a personal preference thing, also depending on the exact tire you're running. You can do a "chalk test" to make sure you're getting even wear at 41 and if not, you can adjust up or down from there.

For the record, what size/model tires are you running?

Re: FR 22" air pressure

I don't have FR but I have 22. 40 PSI rides terrible. 35-36 cold is the sweet spot for me 305/35

Door says 33, but to protect your wheels, I agree with others that 36 - 38 would be about right.
