FYI for WK2 Owners who are switching exhausts

Hello all,

Just wanted to throw this information out there so you dont go through what I am going through at the moment. lol

I purchased this Jeep new and switched the exhaust from the stock (of course) to Corsa.

I liked the Corsa but I felt like it was not loud enough for me. I got the Borla Atak Catback and went to get it put on yesterday. The Jeep was on the lift and the tech said gotta show you something. Then I was showed this.

As you can see the drivers side flange is used and the passenger side flange is not used with the Corsa. What I didnt know was that the passenger side flange comes off as a piece. For a second I thought the previous place who installed the Corsa cut an exhaust piece but it was too clean, so then I went online and saw the parts diagram and it showed the passenger flange comes off.

I didnt have the old one so I had to spend this to get the Borla to fit (parts are showing up this Saturday).

So word of advice for Corsa owners and potential buyers. DO NOT throw out the exhaust flange. Save it and its components so you dont have this cost.

Oh well. You live and learn sometimes!
