Re: Good God! What a machine!

2015 SRT,

I hear ya on the 'girly' manual. Tried teaching my wife (then gf) to drive a stick and she was not having it. Therefore, the SRT had to be automatic for her to drive it. She is getting a 2015 Altitude for her and the dog, so now I might actually be able to try Launch Control and something other than Auto mode!

Mike

I feel your pain. My wife if kind of a speed nanny in the SRT too, but when I'm alone.....RELEASE THE HOUNDS!

Call Jon, 954-205-3624 at best wheel deals, he could probably make it happen if you ran 20s. He was able to get MMR to manufacture this wheel specifically for the CTSV as originally it only came in Camaro offsets. Tell him your interested in the Z28 reps like Barryg has from the CTSV forum. He'll at least tell you if it's possible.

They would look sweet on the SRT.

My wife still doesn't understand why her SRT Jeep is so fast. I tried explaining that it had a 6.4 in it but it's a lost cause.

Can't say I've been in a situation in my SRT where I wished I had to put it into each gear. Manual transmission is old stuff. Computers are taking over man! It feels close enough to a manual when in sport mode but without the drawbacks. If you need to do something with the right hand while driving get a smart phone. Or a good book.
