Re: Grand Cherokee SRT8 Alpine and Vapor Editions

Thanks for sharing the details on this package. I was surprised to see that the sketches and video didn't seem to include the sensor in the front grill for the adaptive cruise control since this feature is now standard. I like the package changes, they seem to be very consistent with what members of this forum have already done (swapping out the chrome parts). The package price seems steep if there are no interior changes to set the special versions apart.

Re: Grand Cherokee SRT8 Alpine and Vapor Editions

Milous Posted here:2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes that The 2014 models will have an improved Forward Collision Warning system. Perhaps it is no longer needed to be out there anymore? It sure looks better.

Also, wouldn't it have made more sense to make the Alpine Edition all White as the Vapor Edition is all black? I think what most people want is just to get ride of the God damnned chrome

Re: Grand Cherokee SRT8 Alpine and Vapor Editions

Just my opinion, but......The black grill looks like a big, empty void on the Alpine version and whats up with the black Boomerang on the Alpine...why not stick with the white? Im liking the Vapor version, it doesnt have that "pieced together" look.

Re: Grand Cherokee SRT8 Alpine and Vapor Editions

$2500......what a ripoff. All for swapping paint colors on the vehicle, wheels, and some trim pieces.

Re: Grand Cherokee SRT8 Alpine and Vapor Editions

The black grille on the white one is extremely tacky. It comes off as a forced change so the consumer doesn't feel ripped off by paying $2500 for what is more or less a white SRT8. Make the grille white and the rear Jeep plate silver like all of the other SRT8s. Way to butcher it Chrysler.

Re: Grand Cherokee SRT8 Alpine and Vapor Editions

I like the black one, although the emblems would still be the first things gone regardless of the color! The white one on first glance looks a bit to...hmmm...I guess Altitude'ish for me. I think a white grill, emblems, and rear brow may have been better, but what do I know I don't do white vehicles anyway.
