ground cleareance

Hello, I am looking into getting a wk2 srt8. but i am worried about the front chin ground clearance as here in mexico speed bumps are huge and the wk1 srt8 I had constantly scraped is the wk2 taller? if so how much lower does is sit compared to a regular wk2. also i had a lot of tire problems with the wk1 srt8 ( crappy roads and holes+ speed= bursted tires) I understand the wk2 has a taller tire profile correct?

regards

deigo garcia

Re: ground cleareance

I havent had a problem. It seems pretty high, haven't measured it but, haven't scraped the front and I've noticed you can pull up over the concrete parking blocks and curbs without hitting them.

Re: ground cleareance

WK1 ~6" to the lowest part on the front bumper cover
WK2 ~8" to the lowest part on the front bumper cover

Re: ground cleareance

I looked this morning as I pulled up to a curb. This one was pretty high and looked like it may scrape further under the front bumper if you pulled in far enough.

Re: ground cleareance

Stay away from all curbs to be safe

I'm used to it from my lowered WK1 SRT
