GT Haus and Northern Virginia

So, being from Northern Virginia we unfortunately have to contend with emissions testing once every two years... Which causes me to hesitate getting my GT Haus system installed.

Is there by chance anyone on this forum that is from my area that already has the exhaust installed, and has not run into any issues passing emissions?

Thanks in advance!!

Mike

Re: GT Haus and Northern Virginia

Is it just "emissions" they test, or also the dB level?

Just emissions. If noise were an issue I could always just go with closed mode. But yeah, just emissions.

Then I would assume you'd be ok. The GT Haus is cat back, so your cats are still there doing there job which is cutting the emissions. And you have the rear mufflers doing their bit too. ?

Well, just as soon as I get mine running again I'll take it to the shop for installation. I'm so ready to hear this thing roar!

Re: GT Haus and Northern Virginia

talk to your tuner. i was able to get mine to pass. my tuner did some adjustments and made an "emissions" tune. it worked.
