I was thinking maybe it was your headers that really made it roar like fark.
So with your recommendations about hoon laws I thought I'd try the system, without headers, but the selling point was the closed mode, it seems to have a nice subtle, yet, definetly beast tuned sound to it.
My brembo cross drilled rotors finally shipped, but now they are stuck in customs due to lack of "commercial invoice info" I figure they are going to try to screw me on import Tax. One of my original thoughts when I ordered the rig was ' **** yeah, it'd be cheap as buyin the US Import aftermarket parts cause international trade with the rate was so good.
It's a fair bit of coin to spend on an exhaust, but I figure I'd we are buying the flagship SUV SRT model, why not go the extra mile, and give it the flagship system it deserves.
I'll talk to my guy installing the zorst with the rest of my gear, and try to a baseline run, completely stock, then get a run with the Bwoody, then a run with the fastman throttle body, then a run with those on top of the exhaust.
I'm not gonna dyno tune yet, cause I'm still not 100% on if we can do that fairly safely yet. Can anyone recommended if I should run with getting a dyno tune? Do u think these mods need a tune? I'm used to Turbo Ford inline 6's, this being my first V8 hemi, I'm still not 100% on what we should/ shouldn't do once these V8's get a few minor bolt on's.
Overall with the SRT I'm so glad I didn't dive in and purchase the original 2012 model I test Drove, Because once I saw the 2014 I was SOLD. 8 speed ZF Tranny! Paddle Shifters! Farkin sweet. Big touch screen, voice recognition that actually works.. Even can get the VR to bring up the SRTperformance pages when they are not displayed on the regular screen.
We have confirmation in Australia of our homegrown FORD and HOLDEN locally made factories are closing down. But in the BIG scheme, I can't wait for the Mustangs to land ( but kinda feel sorry for the boys that paid the premium for the LHD US versions to get converted to RHD) but hey once Ford Australia shuts down, the Mustangs around here will be a hell of a lot cheaper. And I think they will sell obscene numbers. Global platforms make sense.
