Cheers,
Almost everything is built in Asia it seems, so that doesn't surprise/shock me. Doesn't mean anything though, if it does.. I'd stop using, well, anything/everything you own for the most part. (some exceptions, but everything electronic as an example). Many exhausts are made in the USA, sure, but a lot of car parts are assembled/created overseas so this doesn't bother me personally.

Costs are lower to mass produce in Asia - which is why most companies build there.

Power wise - yes, of course. Every cat back exhaust you're going to add creates some power. Some GT Haus set ups have recorded 30hp gains, others a little lower. I'm not sure that anyone has dyno'd stock and then just adding the Meisterschaft cat back yet.. so not sure on the numbers.

All I know, I love it. Greatly.

Owning one, I can tell you it def. feels quicker. The punch is there, no question.

Cheers JD,

Still can't wait for mine to arrive, when it does, I'll try to get some dyno readings, and see what's actually going on.

I got my AR headers in today from Black Ops and they will be installed on Wednesday . I am pumped to hear how they will wound with GTHaus in person. I'll post some vids when complete.

I have been hanging out with a group of guys that all own Lamborghinis. They love the sound of my exhaust on the highway more than their super car exhausts. They say they have never heard an SUV or car roar the way the GTHaus does when it's open full throttle. Still my favorite mod I have done! The sound is the heart beat of any muscle car.

How was the install of those headers? Did it require moving the motor around to get them to fit?

I was looking at the Kooks to go with the GTHaus, and it looks like engine jacking is needed for them.

I don't believe they jacked my engine up at all. But apparently there is a ton of shit to remove to get to them. My dealership has an aftermarket parts installer there and that's all he does. He does fantastic work, very meticulous. I think they charged me 16 hours as well. Worth every penny in my book after hearing some of the horror stories here about guys trying to save a buck on installs.

Re: GT Haus Meinschaft Exhaust for 2014 Wk2 Review

I have a legitimate question for you header guys. I'm not trolling, so don't get your panties in a wad.

Why are you doing them? So far from everything I've read there have been no legitimate gains with headers or the Trinity, particularly on the 2014. In real world testing, the header guys have actually been slower. Now the same can be said for exhaust. However, I'm curious if you all really care about performance or is the sound worth the $$$ to you?

For me, I've got enough sound with the exhaust system. For me to add headers I'm going to want some serious RWHP gain like other brands seem to get. When I go to the track I want to see tangible difference. With the 40-50 promised RWHP from a header/exhaust setup I would say for damn sure you should notice it. a 75HP shot of NOS netted serious gains on a 2014.

I've seriously considered headers, but if I am going to spend $800+ for just the install I want to know I'm getting more than just sound.

Try $1500-$2000 for install of headers.
