I'm sure you could as they'll line up almost perfectly but.. I'm not sure if you'd notice much of a difference in sound? GT Haus will sell you an X Pipe though, Chad can hook you up.

As a prior Borla S Type owner... maaaaan this GT Haus rig is amazing. I'd suggest in your shoes considering getting the GT Haus and selling the Borla. It's not exactly cheap though so that's def. a negative, but it's worth every penny as far as mods go. Nice thing is, the S-Type would sell, everyone loves that set up. I loved mine for sure.

Re: GT Haus Meinschaft Exhaust for 2014 Wk2 Review

I tried to do a full launch the other day in open exhaust mode.

the SRT went sideways.

SIDEWAYS

It wouldn't' lock it up. It eventually did of course but the first bit, slip slidin' away... I had to take my foot off the gas.

when I did finally lock up sort of, I nailed a 4.2. Still, there was slippage. I thought I was going to have my balls exit my mouth. It's never grabbed this hard.

Keep in mind, on winter tires, in 32F / 0C weather. I'm also at 1,129 feet above sea level.. the lower you are, the lower the times you can get.

*so* cannot wait for further testing.

Sounded like Lion that was really, really angry.

I see you are in Perth, have you done anything about the exhaust yet? If you are thinking of seeing Chad for a price having 2 sent to Perth might be be cheaper. I am interested in the GT Haust as well.

i see! would you be interested in getting one soon?

the other thing is... the import tax and GST will have to be paid as it is over the aud1000 threshold... unless someone is willing to take a zero off the total on the declaration

Yes that is what is scaring me. don't think a receipt for $800 will cut it. A place over east "Best Exhaust" is the agent for Meinschaft but the complete system is 6 grand delivered, by bringing a couple into the country the freight cost may make it worth while. I have been to Genie in Melville for an exhaust and headers quote and am waiting to hear back on what they can do.

Chad can get it to you for well under 6k - this was covered already earlier in a different thread.

Re: GT Haus Meinschaft Exhaust for 2014 Wk2 Review

I see Chad has them at a good price (to some) but it is the freight and import duty that is the killer into Australia a set of Road Magnet springs cost me 250 bucks in freight to get here. My local exhaust shop quoted 2500 for a cat back system. Things aren't cheap in Perth.
