As a prior Borla S Type owner... maaaaan this GT Haus rig is amazing. I'd suggest in your shoes considering getting the GT Haus and selling the Borla. It's not exactly cheap though so that's def. a negative, but it's worth every penny as far as mods go. Nice thing is, the S-Type would sell, everyone loves that set up. I loved mine for sure.
i agree it sounds great and thanks for the advice, i chose the Borla S type because it wasn't too loud, price isn't a factor, just where i live and what i do for a living, can't have it too loud. was hoping x-pipe would make Borla S a little meatier if you know what i mean. saw a thread either on this site or red site where someone just swapped out suitcase for x-pipe and kept stock tips and it sounded better just from that mod. maybe if i move and quit my job, i will get full GT haus exhaust

Let me know how you go as I'm keen to get one landed up here as well.

Assuming this system fits to the '13's

Re: GT Haus Meinschaft Exhaust for 2014 Wk2 Review

I pull up the lights this morning, in closed valve mode. Sitting, waiting for it to go green and a second after I pull up, an earlier model SRT pulls up beside me. Guessing a 2010 but could have been a 2008 or 2009. All black.

I click the open valve button for laughs to open the beast up. This guy revs on me a couple times. I return fire with open valve.

hahahahahaha

The look on this guy's face as his mouth dropped, eyes opened. He waves me off, the light goes green and he signals right and turns away.

It was easily the best game of chicken I have ever played because in reality, if this guy had anything done to his SRT, he'd have probably smoked me. Even stock, he's lighter so it may very well have been embarrassing.

Seeing the look on his face to the roar of the Meisterschaft exhaust was great.

Would buy again.

Maybe, but he wouldn't have sounded as good doing it....

I have a '65 Cobra (replica) with a 427 FE side oiler and full side pipes. It's pretty quick (~425hp, but 2300lbs), but the NOISE is what gets respect. Just idling at the light is enough to fend off all but the most foolhardy.

OK, it looks good too:

Anyways, I'm in on this exhaust as soon as I get taxes sorted out for this year. Thanks for the great review.

Dan

Dan - that car is damn sexy. If I had that ride, my wife would never let me leave without her.

Re: GT Haus Meinschaft Exhaust for 2014 Wk2 Review

I heard this exhaust just in the videos and I know I have to have it. The sound must be amazing in person. The price is high, but about the same as my Z (headers back). I'm also concerned about emissions since I'll be moving from CA to NC in August. Don't know the laws over there. Any performance numbers on this exhaust? Dyno'd? Just wondering if you need to do an ECU tune after the install.

For nc (at least in my experience) is that as long as it isn't throwing a code you are good.

CA to NC

CA has the strictest emissions in the country. I think you will be fine in NC.
