Gt Haus n blackops

I just would like to personally thank chad from black op's and a super special thanks to the champion bloke that helped me get my system faster, I really appreciate it very much so thankyou!

It is seriously a one of a kind system that GT has produced. you can not compare it to corsa or borla in any way. this system will eat them up for b/fast and spit them out.

you can watch all the youtube vids under the sun but you will in no way get the idea of how this system sounds, its pure cream .

ive been moding cars for years and never have heard anything like this so well done boys !

im unsure if its because of my headers as well but i literately scare the *^#! out of mates when i kick it over in open mode, hell i near sh1t my pants when it was fitted and started lol.

all i can add is this is not a system of the weak hearted , its not a quiet system , so if your after stealth cya... .
thanks again to rob at GT , Chad at Black op's and the mystery man aka champion bloke !

Re: Gt Haus n blackops

You have got me wanting one now!
I wonder if it will do anything for the 0-100km times or is it all about the sound??

Re: Gt Haus n blackops

I can agree with Dasko76 on this one. Chad went the extra distance to make sure I got my GT Haus set up nice and fast. Great guy and I will for sure be ordering from Chad in the future.

Makker - it adds HP and Torque so yes, it will help some things. Not sure the exact HP gains from a catback open valve set up. If you google it, their exhaust on other rides adds anywhere from 18 hp / 15 tq to 30 hp / 25 tq but not a clue what it is on our rides.

I would have dyno'd but there is no awd dyno near me. Closest one is 4 hours away.

All I do know is that in my first launch with open exhaust, my jeep wouldn't grab. I want partially sideways and there was nothing on the road, temp was 0C / 32F so sure, it was cold. I have winter Pirelli's on that have grabbed well enough to rocket me to a 4.2 a few times now before I put this on. Prob just an odd situation, but it sure felt like a beast.

Can't wait to try again

I don't see how the open system can give you gains down low, only losses. The Hemi need's significant back pressure. Just like headers, from what I've read headers have not helped the WK2 much, if any. Only sound.

I can however say that the GT Haus blows Corsa and Borla and others away in craftsmanship. There is no comparison. It's a piece of artwork. But I highly doubt you are going to get any more HP out of it.

Re: Gt Haus n blackops

well i can agree on no power without a proper tune on the headers for sure.
But i am sure once we can do a FULL tune it will reap the rewards then, in the mean time the sound difference for me personally was worth every cent or dime what ever you guys call small change lol...

has any one done a accurate dyno comparison on the cat backs if they are getting just noise or actual gains ??

the gt doesn't just beat them in quality but hands down sound and all areas, i have not read any data confirming the power gains as yet.

Re: Gt Haus n blackops

Akon - GT Haus has tested their set up with every car they run, some seeing as much as 30hp gains from a cat back (BMW link here) so why wouldn't we see some changes? I'm eager to see how much.. no way it's 30 like this BMW, but I wouldn't be shocked if it's 15 at least.

Re: Gt Haus n blackops

these vids are good , but its is 10% of what its like in person.
I am actually thinking about removing my headers now so i get the same sound but not as violent.
