thanks Tom!

When I grab mine, I'll talk to Chad for damn sure.
Curious as well. My Borla ATAK was not loud at all. It sounded good but it was quiet which is why there wasn't any drone.

It's impossible to have an exhaust that's loud throughout the RPM range and not have drone. A good way to gauge whether or not your exhaust is loud is by the level of drone. When I switched to my custom setup I picked up some drone but it's worth it. Without some drone I don't get the sensation of having an exhaust. Drone = Loud Exhaust

Today I drove to work on eco mode the whole way and still did not notice any drone. If there is a drone it is a lot less than the factory drone. I still have not tried the open mode as I am waiting for a part for it. I also know a guy with the 300 SRT with GThaus and he also says he gets no drone. And this exhaust is decently loud in closed mode. We will see when I enable the open mode in a couple days!

Open mode is going to be loud as hell! Not a fan of the open sound but it would be nice to have the option to terrorize at the flip of a switch.

Yeah I am interested to hear it in open mode too. I know that microphones can't pick up good quality sound at that high of DBs so I think it will sounds much better in person than on that GTHaus video they released, because mine sounds so much more beastly in closed mode than it sounded on their video. I hope to get a pretty nice Mic on order for xmas to myself lol and to help everyone else out here with the best sound preview possible.

Get the Rode Stereo Mic.. They are able record clear exhaust sound while filtering the crackling sound u normally hear.

Man,that is easily the nicest exhaust I've ever seen, and the sound! I was playing the gthaus video for a few buddies in the office today, and everyone's jaws were on floor at the sound.., including mine. I do wish they would forgo the chrome plating and just do regular stainless or something, it would make the cost a little more reasonable. I would love to get one, but I'm positive my wife would murder me after spending so much just to get the SRT in the first place! Congrats!

That sounds really loud. I'm sure if I drive my car with this exhaust the police will stop and fine me. my country has a strict law for loud exhausts.

Re: GTHaus Exhaust install

Here is a quick video I made tonight after I finally got to wash the Trooper after a week of ice. This is the closed mode. I will have open mode activated tomorrow. This is just with built in mic on my camera. Waiting for my new mic to come in. But this gives an idea.

Very nice! If you ever make it down to Houston let me know. I'd like to hear it in person.
