GTHaus Exhaust install

I got my GTHaus catback today. The ice is terrible here in TX so FedEx wouldn't deliver.... BUT that did not stop me after waiting 2 months for this exhaust. I had it installed at a buddies shop. All I can say is WOW, I was absolutely blown away by the quality of these parts. I honestly felt bad putting them under my car where no one can see them and they get beat up by the road. The quality is unmatched. The install went pretty smooth. I did not know I needed to use the clamps from the factory exhaust tips and since I had new tips put on I had to drive home with no tips and install them myself. I also could not test out the "open" mode because we ran out of time at the shop and they had to shut down and we did not align the valves in the pipes so when I tried to open valves they were hitting side wall so I have to lift it back up tomorrow loosen up 3 bolts and center up the valves and it'll be good to go. I have to say I was one happy guy when I started it up and heard it in closed mode. I plan on having it in closed mode 90% of the time and damn it sounds INCREDIBLE. I haven't heard any other system with this deep aggressive tone yet. Like I said its been terribly icey out so I won't be able to make some videos for a few days. But if you were on the fence then I would say to order it ASAP because its the real deal.

I am not positive on that but I would say it is heavier than the stock piping. It pretty solid stuff. Very nice quality piping.

I'm a huge fan of Meisterchaft, it's by far my favorite exhaust, I have it on my G37 it turns the V6 mean, I love it, I seriously follow GTHaus so much I will just sit there and watch youtube videos of the cars they produce and what it does to the engine and exhaust noise of their cars, its so nice. i'm really glad that they finally started taking on american cars like the challenger and now the GC, I've watched there GC video like six times since it came out yesterday. Good choice and good taste!

Always rough on me lol. thanks scott. You know this should be on yours. Maybe if you hear mine in person some day lol

Holy shit that is the sexiest piping I have seen in a long, long time.

Tom, if you can get credit for the sale and get a % or shop credit for referring me - tell me who to buy from my man, if the videos are anywhere near as tight - I am sold.

Catback was 3 bills right? Something like that?

I wish I got some sort of reward for sales on these but I don't. I got mine directly through GTHaus because we had a little deal made between us. But I would recommend purchasing through black ops from chad. He has better pricing than GTHaus direct and chads customer service is unmatched. The sound is just amazing. Closed mode sounds exactly how i hoped it would sound. Open mode is for sure loud and everyone will know you are coming whether that is a good thing or not lol. I plan to keep mine in closed mode most of the time. but for racing or showing off the car I will open it up every now and then to at least show off it can do it!

Man I have to say I was honestly worried about how the tips would turn out. This is some of the best quality powder coating I have seen. The gloss black matches the gloss black on the car perfectly.

I have not heard the attack in person so I can't say. I haven't heard an exhaust in person on an American car that sounds this good though. Amazing sound

My big thing is how does it sound (in closed mode) in the vehicle when idling, and when in motion.. the Borla S def. made it louder.. so I'm curious how much louder this will be.

thanks Tom!

When I grab mine, I'll talk to Chad for damn sure.

It is for sure louder than stock exhaust inside the vehicle. It's a good sound though. Not to loud but enough to hear it good. I would like to hear it inside so I get to hear it along with everyone staring at it next to me lol. I am not sure how much louder than Borla. I hope to find someone near Dallas that had the Borla set up so I can make a comparison video.

This might be a stupid question but what is it wired too? I just noticed that to switch from loud to louder (lol) is a electronic remote? And what's the horse power gain like? This sounds like my boys GT-R..

Each muffler had a valve connected. Each valve has a wire coming off. I ran them up into the inside. The wireless remote upgrade I got hooks up to both wires then has a power and ground cable coming off of that, that we ran to a fuse in fuse box and ground in engine bay. Pretty solid system.

I am happy to report that I did not get any drone tonight on my drive home on the highway. So far I am extremely pleased with this exhaust. The sound is beast.

those vid of you playing on the ice on instagram woulda been waaaaay cooler if the haus was installed... just sayin

Yeah I am interested to hear it in open mode too. I know that microphones can't pick up good quality sound at that high of DBs so I think it will sounds much better in person than on that GTHaus video they released, because mine sounds so much more beastly in closed mode than it sounded on their video. I hope to get a pretty nice Mic on order for xmas to myself lol and to help everyone else out here with the best sound preview possible.

Man,that is easily the nicest exhaust I've ever seen, and the sound! I was playing the gthaus video for a few buddies in the office today, and everyone's jaws were on floor at the sound.., including mine. I do wish they would forgo the chrome plating and just do regular stainless or something, it would make the cost a little more reasonable. I would love to get one, but I'm positive my wife would murder me after spending so much just to get the SRT in the first place! Congrats!

Here is a quick video I made tonight after I finally got to wash the Trooper after a week of ice. This is the closed mode. I will have open mode activated tomorrow. This is just with built in mic on my camera. Waiting for my new mic to come in. But this gives an idea.
