GTHaus questions

I am on the fence about the GTHaus exhaust and had a couple questions.

1. I live in boston and my srt is my everyday driver. Does anyone have any experience using an exhaust with cutouts during the winter months? My concern is that with the salt and grime from the road and the harsh NE winters the cuts will stop working.

2. What are the benefits of the X pipe and is it worth it? 1800.00 seams like a lot for an exhaust, but add the X pipe and your talking 3 grand.

3. For those of you that have the system installed did you notice a gain in power? I spoke to the guys at GTHaus and they told me to expect 40hp with the system. However I am reading post where guys are saying that the felt a loss of power in open mode.

Thanks for the help!
Zach

Re: GTHaus questions

Yes the X pipe is worth it and necessary. Regarding power, you must have missed half of the review.

Open Mode - Lost performance off the line, increased performance once you are moving.
Closed Mode - Improved performance over stock across the board.

So 0-60 = Closed Mode Better
60 -130 = Open Mode Better

I can be available anytime on short notice. I have been on the fence so long this might be just what I need to pull the trigger.
