Explorer Sports. Almost never. I like the looks of them but not for money. Looked at a Taurus SHO a few years ago. Loved look....Power was not there for the money
I've got 3 SRT Jeeps in my SECTION of my neighborhood.

I see several X5M's a week. Explorer Sports everywhere.

I'm in Houston. We love our cars here. I also saw two 458 Italia's in a span of 4 miles on Saturday.

Explorer Sports are relatively cheap. 3 rows, somewhat performance oriented CUV that only comes fully or nearly fully loaded for $45k... That's less than any Durango R/T or equal to. And definitely cheaper than the Grand Cherokee.

I've never seen an X5M in person. But I see about 10 explorer sports a day. But that's because we don't have a bimmer dealer within 3 hours of our town.
Just like the Explorer....they can be made fast CHEAP. Low 12's with a tune, downpipe and meth.

The Lincoln MKS is the better value. Lincolns depreciate like crazy, and it's the same twin turbo AWD as the SHO.

Have you driven one? I had a Volvo XC60 at the time. It felt quite a bit faster than the SHO (and it was 300p vs 365hp). It didn't "wow" me for that price. For comparison. The SS I think feels much faster and can probably get one for the same price as a SHO

Do you have the stock tires on it? If you swap out the tires and they're off by just a hair in diameter, it'll give you a bad reading. Smaller diameter tires will give faster times, since one rotation will happen faster versus the larger diameter tire.

I drive by the BMW dealership here every day, multiple times. They have several M models, even the X5M I want an M sedan so bad. It's torture everytime I pass

This was over 2 years ago on stock wheels/tires.....BUT it still runs very very similar times right now with 22" wheels and 305 35 22 pirellis. Ive gotten 4.3 seconds in the rain.....also got a 4.4 with 4 adults. The more miles you put on it...the faster it gets. I can see these 3-5000 mile jeep srts getting 4.5-4.9. Also....many will.discount the onboard timers...but many have proven at the track they are super accurate.

Just checking. What mods did you have done? I'm looking to lightly mod mine & if I can hit 4.0 or better, I'll be happy.

Nice . The comments on you tube are hilarious.

I pulled 4.2 to 60 this morning. Completely stock. Not hard to believe that a few mods can shave off another five tenth of a second.
