Don't let these people discourage you from doing what you want to your vehicle. They do not set the taste standards for SRT or any other vehicle. I was flamed on the "other site" when I posted my addition of white dim-able LED lights under each rocker panel and white LED's to the hood vents. Besides the flamers on the "other site" there has been zero negative comments from anyone that has seen it in person. I will agree to some extent that there is a line to not cross so that is why I used white lights instead of RGB or RGBW.

FYI - The flamers edited their post to not sound too much like and a$$hole.

Re: Headlamp and other lighting upgrades?

Thanks Scott and you others. I know we have not met personally, but I hope to soon. You will discover that that stuff rolls off my back like water on a duck and everyone has a right to their own opinion. I am a pretty stubborn old bast!!! too. I went to a couple of car shows this weekend, the big one was more of a rice rocket event, however there were several Mopars and I managed to organize, with the help of the event organizer, a prime spot in the middle of the event to display all of them, with a little "squeaky wheel get's the grease" effort that the Mopar guys appreciated. I got some good leads and ideas from people at that show. I was the only Jeep at the event and took two spots to display the beast. (See attached photo) Photos of engine, new wheels, etc. are coming soon.20140614_120837.jpg

Well if you don't want it toned down...per your request:

It's just nice to be able to voice my opinion somewhere. Rolls Royce with 28s, Jeep SRT with Vin Diesel Neon, CLS63 Mercedes with Elbows...I see the garbage and I always wonder how someone can have such awful taste. Then again I see how these people talk and how they dress...then I'm no longer surprised.

I'm a fan of keeping things classy. I ragged myself in the "What did you do.." thread. I used to do tacky ghetto classless things, albeit never as bad as Paul Walker lights. Then I grew up. Fortunately it was before I could afford an expensive vehicle to ruin. No one cares when we see it on a Civic. We just laugh at the turd as he drives by. It's on nice vehicles that we care about where it's excruciating. Yes you are right, taste will vary. But what is classified as ghetto does not. It's like when Ghetto people get mad for being called Ghetto. Dude, I don't give a shit if your jeans cost $5k, they're too baggy and your sagging them. A man with Diamonds on his watch? Seriously ghetto. Your 45 and wearing a Flat Bill hat?

Grow up Peter Pan!

Sorry couldn't help myself

I'm E-thuggin'! Then again, if those people came up to me at a get together I'd happily buy them a beer.

I had a little disagreement with Black Ops, and we decided to go in another direction. I went with Triumph Wheels. Here are a couple of shots of the new wheels on the SRT. What do you think?

Do you have the 5000k or 6000k Phillips. I was confused by another post. I'm going to spend the money to outfit my new headlights when the are replaced under warranty.
