Hehe all good mate , I think the problem is that there is defiantly the same colour wires that you are supposed to tap into with the posi taps with are there it's just that there not in the right position i.e position 3 or position 9 or what evere the right position is I can't remember now but you understand what I mean CLStech , and I fired my mate the sparky hehe

I'm pretty sure the instructions will not differ, maybe backwards or upsidedown for the Australian folks! There are a few right hand drive folks with the mod running just fine.

Well good luck Chris because I am jealous as hell I really want this mod because it looks so sweet , and if you get it to work ill ship you up a nice bottle of Rum that you can only but if you live in Bundaberg :-)

Re: Headlight Ribbon DRL Activation Kit

I smile every time I pull up behind some car and see my ribbon lights reflecting back at me lol.

Maxy, I wonder if you can run a wire INTO the position that you have a blank and maybe that would work? I don't know of anyone local to me with a post March 14 model so I cant check for my self.

I have a March build with the missing wires. Did my install and no errors. It not full brightness, but still looks good (i wouldnt be able to tell the difference unless the vehicles were parked next to each other). ill post a couple pics when i get home.

Re: Headlight Ribbon DRL Activation Kit

received mine a few weeks ago. installed it today that way my s/c installers didn't have to worry about working around an additional harness.

LOOKS AWESOME.

Re: Headlight Ribbon DRL Activation Kit

Forgive me if this has already been addressed, but if I have a 15' on order will this mod still work as intended or will the lights not be as bright. Just trying to see if I should buy one now or wait on a update for the later build models. Thanks!
