Re: Help needed in Australia!

Just checked out your build thread Scott. Love those wheels mate. I can no longer be happy with the standard wheels or even the spider monkeys. How is the ride with the 22's and how much we're those wheels?

They should make 2014 alpine edition and have these special edition SRT available in special colors like white, red, silver, and have black text SRT on the back, black text jeep Grand Cherokee on the side, black power folding mirrors on the doors, heated and cooled cup holders, lane keep assists.

Re: Help needed in Australia!

Hello to all aussie SRT fans,

Apart from cage and myself, has anyone placed an order and if so, have they been given pricing, even if indicative?
Cheers

Hi mrmaker

I have placed an order and paid a deposit but 2013 pricing was used - more as a placeholder than anything.

I have chased the dealer a couple of times but no updates or info as yet.

Re: Help needed in Australia!

Hi hayesy,

We are both in the same position. I would have hoped and thought given we are in mid March and the prediction that they will hit our shores end of July that pricing would have been disclosed by now.

They will not hit our shores mid July would be my guess.

Based on what happened last year with the 2012 delays and the dealers indication, I have been expecting Sep all along.

Any earlier is a bonus!

Re: Help needed in Australia!

I have been following forums etc on jeep garage and came across this thread.
Test drove the srt 8 the other day and pretty keen to look into placing an order for srt 2014 in Sydney.
Have made enquiries at jeep @ waitara but sales people had very little info on the new model, more interested in pushing 2013 can anyone recommend a dealer that they have dealt with ?
Looking at black, with sunroof & sound pack with vapor wheels.

Re: Help needed in Australia!

Hi chewie,

You will find that no dealer is better then another when it comes to the Srt, I have dealt with Waitara and they seemed ok. You basically have to sell the car to yourself as they have no idea about the car. Arm yourself with all the info you find on this forum as it is 100% correct, walk into the dealer and tell them this is what you want, you will find you know more then they do. Unfortunately we are not getting he vapor black chrome spider monkeys option down under, just the standard Goliath or optioned satin chrome spider monkey.

Good luck!

I've ordered a 2014 cherry SRT and laid a deposit. Pano roof, audio and tow pack... $91k. I knew more than the dealer... Please confirm that Goliath wheels are standard?

Re: Help needed in Australia!

Thanks mrmaker,
Will sort what I am after and then hit the dealers.
Pity about the vapor wheels not being available, I would have thought jeep could offer as an option, maybe they will bring in the same vapor pack as 2013 towards the end of year.

Re: Help needed in Australia!

Hi Patch,

The 91k, is that the correct price?, what is the RRP on the my14s, the 13s was 76k+ on road. Is the official pricing out yet? Goliath are the standard rims.
Cheers
