My dealer says they cannot get anyone at Chrysler to tell them how much the price protection code will give them. I supplied them with the email that Milous posted, but they want to confirm this. Anyone know how they can check it very quickly. I am running out of time here. Thanks Everyone!!
I would hope that their rep can answer the question. The approach I used was presenting my dealer a copy of the pricing that we printed off on August 5th and then a copy of the current pricing (Both were the Price Order Confirmation printouts from DealerConnect) They were on the phone with Chrysler for about 45 minutes the day that I arrived to pickup my car. Not sure who exactly they called to work out the final details. Good luck, this was the most nerve-racking part of the purchase process. After reading some of the stories that others have shared I wasn't sure if it would go smoothly or not.
My dealer isnt doing price protection either, as of right now at least. The car just came in this morning. My dealer is a huge jerk though... Not sure what else to do, sent him the letter but he still says "his price is correct"
Called Chrysler customer service but they said they cant do anything with pricing that it is between me and the dealer.
