Please help me. Does anyone know how to keep this stupid radio from adjusting the volume depending on the speed that I am traveling. I have my audio tuned while it is sitting still and this stupid feature is screwing up my tune. I have had this feature on other vehicles and to be honest I think it is one of the most annoying features you could possibly have on a car. I have been able to disable this feature in all my other vehicles but I can't seem to find a way to disable it in the SRT Jeep. Someone please help!!!!!

I have a 2013 model with the mygig

Re: Help....radio volume driving my crazy

Read the manual. If you have the 8sp, then the above is the correct way

Re: Help....radio volume driving my crazy

Even I'm having trouble finding the setting in the older Uconnect radio manual. The above instructions are definitely for the 8.4

After doing some research on the mygig system I have come to the conclusion that this radio does not in fact have the ability to stop the speed dependent volume. That being said I certainly hope that someone is able to find a way or maybe there is an update that Chrysler could do but this is pretty much a hope in the wind. I am now planning to change the radio out for perhaps a different aftermarket radio without this stupid nonsense feature. Ever since I had this feature on one of my older vehicles in 2003 I haven't really despised it. Unfortunately I am NOT going to be able to get rid of it.

Re: Help....radio volume driving my crazy

Luckily it's not that bad on the 2014 unit.

I'd almost lean towards saying it doesn't work in my 2014 Overland. At least I don't notice the volume increasing or decreasing (probably the point I suppose).

Re: Help....radio volume driving my crazy

It increases the bass and treble at speed. Very subtle changes but i picked it up big time a few months ago.

Its almost like the 'loud' setting that they used to have on aftermarket radios. It gradually increases the 'loud' not really the volume.

My problem is that I have to set my gains while I am sitting still. Now when I am moving and not all the time it will increase the bass and treble which completely screws up all my tuning settings. I don't think it would be very safe for me to just set the games while I am doing 70 or 80 miles an hour. Lol i guess i thought it would be too easy in order for me to set up my audio build. Silly me
