Hi guys,
First time poster. Not yet an SRT owner, but strongly considering ordering a '17....
I have a question about the available "high performance brake package." From searching this site, I've been able to glean that it's essentially 2-piece slotted rotors (with aluminum hats) in place of the stock 1-piece rotors? Same size as the stock rotors. At a price of $1295, that's a very good deal for 2-piece rotors at all 4 corners. The rotational weight savings are substantial. Can anyone confirm that I'm correct that the "high performance brake package" is essentially the 2-piece slotted rotors front and back? No changes to calipers or pads? I asked the dealer and called the SRT hotline, and no one could give me any further technical specs....
Also, in looking at the on-line photos of dealer SRTs with the high performance brake package, it doesn't look like those rotors are slotted. They look like solid surface rotors, the same as stock? Can anyone share their experience with this brake package and/or photos? Thanks!
Carmine
