It was definitely challenging... I used screw driver that accepts bits. This seemed to be the perfect size to fit in the fittings... I laid the can on the garage steps and tapped the screwdriver with a hammer until it started to move. If you think you are cranking on it too hard you are almost there...

They feel they'll snap but they won't, just really give it some muscle, I used vice grips, and had the can screwed on for more leverage.

Re: How do you remove these two clamps to install a catch-can ?

Finally got this fkr installed. Ended up putting the cc in a vice w a towel to move the left fitting. I found that moving the fitting back and up (35°) fits pretty well. Anyways have a look! I love how it makes the engine bay look!!

Mine looks exactly like this, zip tied together and all. Personally, I think it looks like a shit show with the hoses running over the valve covers and manifold. Oh well.

2014 GC SRT - White / Mods to date: Diablo Sport Tune, Injen CAI, cat back gthaus (black chromed tips), Fast Man Throttle Body, 180 Thermostat, Billet Technology catch can and throttle body cover. In the coming weeks - All chrome trim is going to be black chromed and Black Ops CFR Edition Hood, Black Ops CFR Edition Lower Front Lip spoiler to be painted and installed.

check my pics....I was able to hide the hoses...or one of them by routing it under the cover.
