My SRT has auto leveling headlamps. Go into the EVIC menu and you'll find it. Make sure there is a checkmark next to it.

Re: How to adjust headlights??

See Scott's picture. There is a leveling screw for each headlamp that can be adjusted with a phillip screw driver. The auto level feature adjust the lamps when the vehicle is loaded. The software assume the lamps are correctly aimed unloaded.

Re: How to adjust headlights??

After the Eibach install, noticed the way home this evening I was 'squirrel spotting' headlights were way too darn high. I must have pissed off a lot of drivers... my bad!

Scott's picture was great, Thank you!!! You need a hell of a long screwdriver, but it worked and one less reason for the boys in blue to pull me over . Takes a quiet a few turns to get lower them

I did look in all the controls for 'autoleveling' and can't see anything - only see option for auto turning of the headlights - but that is all... if it is there, I'm blind

Yet again, another reason this forum is a good thing.

Re: How to adjust headlights??

This info in this old thread was useful for my new 2016 GC Limited Anniversary edition.

I'd like to add that (1) it takes a blade of at least 6.5" on the screw driver to reach that far. (2) a 3/16" straight blade did the trick better for me than any of my Phillips. I think it engaged the notches seen inside and bottom of the well. That said, it looks like a hex hole so if you have hex drivers with long reach so much the better. My hex drivers are only 5".

Assuming my garage floor is a plane, the factory set the lights such that at 15' my low-beam light "line" (bixenon) was about 2" above the center of the projector lens. On the road the light-line was about 1/3 of the way up on a sedan's back window. I set them to ~3.5" below level which should approximately give me "spec" of about 5" below level at 25'.

I do not have the adjustable suspension, so that isn't a factor.

The SRT doesn't have quadralift.
