Close - the first ones hit in Fall 2009, so it would be going on 4 years old. It would have to be chosen carefully for sure, because some of the 2010's did have some problems as a first model year. But you get a heck of a good ratio of hp for dollars if you're willing to drive a used car.

ehh why do that when the new C63 will have the TT 5.5 which with just a ecu tune you gain close to 100 tq and over 100hp.....

Re: I guess we will not be seeing that S/C version anytime soon...

I am leaning for the C63 if there's AWD (and depending on the price)...

I've been out of the loop since 2009 when I purchased my Jeep SRT8 and sold it 6 months later...

I was hoping for a SC in the. Is it still something that Jeep plan and if yes, in wich year does the 300 or Charger will get it (usually the Jeep gets those things 1 year later). Hope this subject has not been beaten to death already

Was waiting for the 2014 and really thought it would have been SC, don't mind to wait a extra year if it's gonna happen next year in the "regular" SRT8 models.

it could happen in 2015. IMHO...if the LX's get SCed...the Jeep has to get it as well.

You mean in year 2015 or the 2015 model wich would be released in ~june 2014? We'll see

Edit: I do think there's a new design due for model 2016 (due mid-2015)

Seems to only way to enjoy owning a jeep srt-8 is to always put an order in for the next upcoming model. You drive whats current then sell it then take delivery of the new one and then repeat the process. With allocations and prices that's the only way to go to unfortunately prices are always rising but demand is there, well at least in Canada. By the time they deliver the new 2014 it will be probably only a couple of months before the order banks open for the sc model.

Btw, in Canada (Montreal as you), prices are below MSRP if you are ready to wait a few months and take one on the lot...

In a few months the prices aren't going to be lower since there isn't enough supply. Dealers quote bs prices and even confirmed signed orders don't get delivered. We're not in Texas here. If a dealer gives you 2k off msrp then he's f'''king you somewhere else. Nothing will be on the lot to haggle. 8 total for the short MY 2013. Even with a full production year and no major changes planned for the naturally aspirated model in MY2015 then prices aren't going to fall. That's like Chrysler giving cash back to dealers last year on MY2013 didn't mean anything cause the allocations were so small. Mind you I'm very sure i can always get 8 points off any mercedes c63 except the black series which we can't get anymore.

I'm out of the SRt8 community since I sold my 2009 Jeep SRT8 (kept it only 6 months) but back then, 2 were sitting on the lot at my dealer, also, there were one at Rond Point and one at Sega so I had a lot of room concerning the pricing...

Didn't thought it changed that much in just a few years...

It has since 2009, i had ordered a 2009 when they were giving a 15k rebates from the manufacturers and chrysler was about to go bankrupt. During the summer the deal had gotten made with the American gov. And then Fiat came in. Long story short they delivered to me 2010 but at the 2009 discount prices.
49990$ I paid , instead of 63k which was the msrp. I stole that truck. I know both those dealers you mentionned and your obviously from the south shore or were. Chances are both those dealers will only get 2 trucks each and they'd better be selling tons of caravans and darts otherwise they won't get nothing from chrysler. If ever you need help getting one let me know in a pm and i can hook you up but be warned it's easier to get deals on an Ml 63 amg or a X5M then it is to get an srt8
