i had some very serious issues with my 2012 SRT8. the only thing i noticed was that the paddle shifters did not work. well after the car was in the shop for 8 days they finally delivered the truck back to me today in perfect working condition today.
i filed a mild complaint with chrysler specifically the SRT division and i could not have been treated any better. I also own an audi and i must say chryco beat them in service this time. i was given a rep at chrysler that called me daily. she arranged transportation for me to/from dealer, loaner car, absorbed any and all costs for the inconvenience. She proceeded to add a warranty on the truck that is incredible. and without asking cut out a check for my inconvenience. my last phone call with her was 3 hours ago and i actually told her i was beyond shock at how well corporate chrysler treated me. they just won me over for life!

that is awesome to hear Chris! I can also testify to their customer service now...even has highly modified as my jeep is,...they honored the warranty on my Jeep and replaced an exhaust manifold, gasket and bolts!

Did they slip you some Date Rape Drug too?!? LOL! That is over the top customer service.

They cut you a check for the "inconvenience"?

Was the issue only the paddle shifters? I noticed you said serious so I am just wondering what else was wrong. Glad they got you all fixed up, you definitely received abnormal service, maybe it's an SRT thing. :)

I had the following issues: disabled paddle shifters, nonfunctional driver side air bag, non functional fog lights. Then in trying to fix paddle shifters they broke the air bag spring. It was 6 days of software reprograming and 1 day for air bag spring. Plus dealer refused to give me a loaner because they said i didnt buy the truck from them.

Im glad you got it sorted and they took exceptional care of you! BUT I must say this seems a bit out of character for Chrysler corporate as a whole UNLESS they've been rapidly changing the past year or so which it does seem they are working on.

All the things you mentioned seem more like them covering up for the crappy unit of production you received, kinda like oh, lets mitigate the damages now before words and rumors get spread and kill our first year sales. In my mind its just a standard business tactic, but hopefully they will treat ALL customers like they treated you and FOR GOOD, not just the first year
