I may just be extremely picky, or just my German background demanding perfection, but I thought I would get that with a new vehicle. I think Chrsyler Co has jumped up leaps and bounds in quality, I'm really impressed. But I'm wondering if its just mine?
Shortly after I took possesion I noticed that the chrome and carbon fiber trim that surrounds the dash didn't line up with the doors. Since it was on both sides I figured the dashboard seemed to be installed too high. I had a 2011 Jeep GC Summit come to my shop and measured its dashboard against mine, and mine is higher by a 1/4 inch? I asked my friend who works at the plant for the 300's etc, and said it shouldn't be possible because of guide pins. I took it to the dealer and they said, "We can do it, but do you really want it go through all that trouble?" Heck ya, all the pictures I looked up, and GC I sat in before I placed my order were all perfectly lined up. I don't know, should I just live with it, or have it fixed?
And I not flaming my new truck, I aboslutely luv the thing!
