Identifying Options

Is there anyway to identify what options came on a srt vehicle? I know this info is available on the window sticker but if you don't have access to a window sticker than what are your choices? And yes, you can look at the car and some options are obvious but some are not. For example, can you physically tell if an srt GC has the premium audio by looking at it?

It's funny. You can access a Ford window sticker (online) for ever if you have a VIN. With jeep, as soon as the car is sold, the window sticker is no longer kept online.

www.moparownerconnect.com

Sign up for an account and register your SRT's VIN. You'll get the build data with options (no pricing unfortunately) plus service info performed by Chrysler dealerships.

Re: Identifying Options

Well I just checked my vin# on another Jeep forum. You are correct My window sticker was no longer available. But I was still able to bring up my build sheet. Which is just as good as a window sticker.

Re: Identifying Options

Let me repeat myself. I want the ability to look up ANY VIN and find what options that car came with. In other words, it is impossible to shop for a used SRT and before buying it, trying to determine what options that car has. Yes, you can visibility identify the pano roof but you can not identify whether not a car has the premium audio.

There's only 2 ways to identify options are:

- window sticker (but if you don't have it then you are screwed)
- or to ask the dealer to pull the build sheet so dealers have a tool but the public does not.

Re: Identifying Options

SRTs with the premium audio have extra tweeters in the doors. It may or may not have the silver trim rings and/or say Harmon on the speaker grills.

Re: Identifying Options

Interesting. I just went into autotrader and pick 5 random SRT VINs and they work.
