Fght On, just a couple questions. I had a '15 and traded it in and now I too should have know better and kept the '15. I'm getting the itch again to get back into an SRT and wanted to know if negative equity affected you on the trade. Also, did you have any problems about getting another auto loan so soon after just purchasing the vehicle you traded in to get the SRT. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

This prob won't be very helpful, but it all really just depends. The negative equity all comes down to how much you initially put down. If you have negative equity, you can always roll it over into the next vehicle if there is room for the loan to still book - otherwise you will have to cut a check when you sell or trade.

As for getting another loan so soon, comes down to your credit score. The experts say a lot of inquires in a short period and a short length hurts, but if you have perfect credit w no blemishes, you aren't going to have any problems.

I happen to always use the same bank (TD Auto) so that helps eliminate the issue as well.

I plan to put at least 15-20% down. I've got a lifted special edition F150 right now and it's hard to get trade in value on it from online sources because of it being a special edition. I can only get trade in value for regular F150's. I love what I have now and all the room it gives me but, the SRT keeps calling me back lol. I keep going back and forth purchasing SRT's and F150's. My ultimate plan would be to have both the SRT and F150. Thanks Fght On for the input.

Re: I'm Back!!

A man of my heart . . . on of my all time favorite vehicles (and I've had more than most) was my lifted and blacked out '10 F150 SCrew. I did absolutely everything on my list to it. It was just a bit too big for the city.

The SRT really is the best of all worlds if you are only going to have one. I hear ya on having 2 - in a few years when kids are going to make the burbs unavoidable, and space won't be an issue, I'm going back to a lifted truck and doing a 911 on the side for those nice days when I need some speed.

Yeah the space and room in the F150 for the family is great, just miss the speed of the SRT. Still deciding though. Thanks again Fght On.ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1438629585.304188.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1438629672.003204.jpg

F150 looks great! Yea, the speed always get you - I always come back to the fact that the SRT is pretty much faster than anything on the road on most given days and that's hard to give up. Here's my past baby . . .

Thanks, I like your style too. Those wheels and tires are nice. Even though I have the big 6.2 in the F150, it doesn't compare to that 392. Decisions, decisions lol.
