I'm Back!!

I should have know better . . . there is no vehicle on the road that has the total package like the SRT. After my 6 month hiatus, I couldn't resist.

Picked up a white '15 w Sepia yesterday (I'm just too OCD to keep torturing myself w black) - haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face since. Picked up another toy during the time away as well . . .

Re: I'm Back!!

Very nice.

How do you like the ducati? I've been trying around with getting another bike ans a 1098 is at the top of my list.

Re: I'm Back!!

Love the bike - the 1199 is the most 'comfortable' racing Ducati in my opinion. They rounded the tank more and shortened the saddle.

If you're really interested in a 1098, and it wasn't just a typo, def ride one before you pull the trigger. It's a very narrow, long saddle and stretch to the grips. It's not very comfortable, however the torque is unlike anything Ducati has ever produce.

Beautiful vehicle! That's exactly the vehicle I'm looking to buy. I'm also from the Chicagoland area. Can I ask what dealer you purchased from? I'm curious what you paid. If you're willing to share, PM me. Enjoy! Chris

I'm waiting on mine, in the same colour combo. Enjoy in good health and keep the shiny side up!

I did the same thing but mine was a 6 year gap.

Great minds think alike! I have a 14 White SRT and 2010 Ducati 848 Nicky Hayden Rep that I converted the fairings to white! Nice looking rides bud.

Re: I'm Back!!

Thank you to everyone. I will get some interior pics when I'm back in town. The sepia interior is beautiful! I love the napa leather. The Vapor was much better in person, but still very dark overall.

Right now . . . I say that w a grin since I know how I am, just tinting the fronts, removing all chrome, powdering the wheels gloss black, brembo drilled rotors, and spacers to kick out the wheels flush with the fenders. I will prob do exhaust next spring.

The plan is not to lower or do 22's b/c then I become too anal and forget how to enjoy the thing.

My dealer I always deal with is Marino on Irving Park. However, this combo is extremely hard to come by. All the dealers are only ordering the vapor editions. There was one at a dealer in Elmhurst, but they wouldn't trade w my dealer and they didn't deal w TD Auto Finance so we couldn't make the deal happen. I ended up driving to Fort Wayne, IN and dealing with O'neil. Regardless of the options, I was willing to pay $500 above whatever the invoice was. After enough arguing from the dealer that they couldn't go that low on a '15 they all ended up agreeing. Don't pay over $500 above.
