Finally was able to swing the purchase of our soup to nuts fully loaded 2012 SRT8 GC. Deep cherry red, one owner, 18k, jeep certified, plus max care lifetime warranty through the dealer with Lojack installed, panoramic roof, and Harmin Kardon stereo. I really love this thing so far, and im looking forward to the road ahead. I plan on posting pics from the real camera once its warm enough to clean it good.

Thanks guys, im beyond excited about it. I really really want to lower the ass end bad. Ive been reading alot of everyones posts to try and find the best setup. Looks like the eibachs in the rear only may be the way to go but do you have to buy all 4 springs just to use 2? anyway @artofnoize your jeep is so serious!! love it. Im trying to see as many deep cherry red srt's as i can to get inspiration.

Welcome to JeepGarage! Unfortunately, joining was a huge financial mistake. It is only a matter of time before you become discontent with your 2012 SRT and trade up for a 2014 SRT like everyone else seems to be doing.

I always liked the SRT jeeps. The 14 is my first one but I'm guessing not the last. The only problem I'm having now is do I mod the bejesus out of this one knowing the hellcat is coming or sell it when the time comes. It'd be nice to have a factory supercharged engine under warranty :D

Ya I know a lot of guys are jumping ship to the 14's and that's great but I'm gonna hang onto this one for a long while! We couldn't really swing a 14 right now because we purchased our first home!! I did drive a couple 14's and just didn't feel the need to spend that much more. We really did rob the barn on this thing too!!! I'm gonna go this real simple and real clean!! I'm absolutely obsessed with the color now!! Gonna post some really sweet pics I just took with my real camera!! Thanks everyone!

Guys, the SRT is a great toy/car/truck ... No matter what year! I did not like the look front back of the 14 and did not have the need for the new dashboard - so for me it was easy. Soon there will be a newer SRT and they will say the same ... 14 outdated - 15 sooo much better ? ... Enjoy your SRT for what it is: the cream of the crop of GCs if you are not playing in a sand box ?

4 years until another SRT, that's a long time in car years.

Congrats on the your new ride, looks great! You mention that it has a max lifetime warranty on it. I tried to get one for my '14 but the best they said Chrysler will do on an SRT is 7 years / 100K miles. They will do the lifetime on the non-SRT models. I also tried to pull it up on the Chrysler warranty site and when you enter SRT into the field it declines you. I have the lifetime on my '08 Commander Overland and it is great. Thankfully I haven't had to use it much at all but when I have there have been no questions asked. If you can verify the coverage and let us know I'll go back and fight the dealer for it:D

I can in fact confirm for you that I do have the full max care protection plan for my 2012 SRT! It does say that it's pre owned protection service but is def for the correct vin number on our SRT!! That's probably why they said it would be a no go for your new 2014. I have all the paperwork in front of me as we speak. I thought he also said that my particular dealer did the pre owned certification which made it very painless for them to offer me the max care on this particular jeep. He did have to make a few phone calls to confirm that this SRT would be covered!
