I don't want to get into a political argument here, it's not my place and it's you that have to live with the result of your election. I have no data to base this on just a general observation of social and media discussion in the world outside the USA. To put things into perspective, the world outside the USA constitutes 96% of the world's population, look it up. As you are probably aware, despite all the great thing that have come out of the USA, the USA is generally on the nose in the rest of the world. Yes, much of it is envy but much of it is also your aggressive foreign policy which seems to stem from a kind of social paranoia that all countries have but the USA more than most. The rest of the world saw the election of Obama as breath of fresh air. I think it is fair to say that most of what the world dislikes about the USA is encapsulated in your Republican Party. Your Democratic Party is seen, rightly or wrongly, as the more enlightened party and the party with a clearer view of where the USA fits and aught to fit into the world community.

No argument here at all. It's only a discussion. Thank you for elaborating. I've always heard that people outside the USA typically are more informed of our government and policies than we are. However, that being said... people generally receive their information from mainstream media that is in the back pocket of those in charge. It's ridiculous how one media outlet will choose to report a story and others will simply ignore it or come up with a way to spin it so that it's almost a lie. Not sure if it's like that in the rest of the world or not.

FYI, Europe and the "rest of the world" is an economic disaster at best.......

USA would only be a fool to follow suit...... we can't allow 4 more years of the same failed policies....... we need real leadership for USA and for the world.......

Mods feel free to delete, but the truth has to be spoken.......

What disaster? We here in Oz are going great guns as are China and India. The USA ranks 149th in terms of GDP growth rate, just one step above the European Union. 79% of the world's population live in countries with GDP rates higher than the USA. But don't believe me, look it up! You might want to check out List of countries by real GDP growth rate (latest year) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia but there are many other good sources. In 2011 the USA had a GDP growth rate of 1.7% . Australia, China and India had 1.8%, 9.5% and 7.8% repetitively. Even Mexico had 3.9%. You need to get up on your toes and look over the fence into the rest of the world, check the figures and make up your own mind as to what is really happening rather than just lapping up the rhetoric you are being fed by your political spin doctors. You will be a much better person for it.

Yes it is unfortunately, that is why one has to take information from a number of sources avoiding those that are clearly sensational or biased for whatever reason. Shows I like to watch and blogs I follow are from Reuters, CNN, Al Jezera, BBC, Bloomberg and our own local media. These I find fairly balanced, to my tastes anyway. It gives me a good spread over the USA, the Middle East, Europe and Asia.

You are missing the point......

I don't care about living anywhere else but USA, because in my view it still is the best country in the world. We need to get a president that actually knows how business and job creation works, not a big government bureaucrat like all the European countries have elected and we now have, who wants to redistribute wealth and kill small businesses.....
We need change at the helm, Romney and Ryan will be able to slowly turn the course for our country for the better........

If Reuters, CNN, Al Jezera, BBC, Bloomberg is what you trust as news sources than that explains everything about the way you think.......
Have a good one mate.......

Of course they do!!! Because just about every single one of those countries is like the growing number of poor, lazy, illegal, and/or mooching people in our own country............they like all of the free handouts our Democrats throw out because it's less they have to worry about or plan for.

So, how much money has Haiti, Japan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, or about 100 other countries.....given to us so far to help with the Superstorm Sandy disaster that is currently happening in the most populated region of our country? How much did they provide for the massive floods in our Middle America a couple years ago? How much in 2005 for Hurricane Katrina? How about Hurricane Andrew in 1992?

Don't worry though, by the looks of it the world will continue to get their free handouts and our country will continue to go deeper in debt, because the chances are very high Obama is going to be re-elected. Romney is probably going to win the popular vote, but not the electoral vote, which is actually what picks our President (not sure if you know how that works.)

I think it's time to end this thread. This is a car forum not a political one.

Hahaha....I will keep my political opinions to myself on a CAR forum. I live in the real world. I look at the facts on all the subjects. Not the political spewings of idiots and sheeple on both sides. Again, this is a CAR forum. And by the way, if you read it on the internet, it must be true. LMAO.
