Last time I spoke with the Chief SRT chassis Engineer he said the rear sway bar is suffice and can't really be improved on hence the reason we haven't done one. Just thought I would share I think Scott was their with me when we had the conversation at the NYAS

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee "Hellwig" Rear Sway Bar

That's weird...
I posted that link for a particular part number that shows at "fits".

Carid shows it as a fit.

http://www.carid.com/2014-jeep-grand...-45062500.html

Hellwig part number is 7732-
Now the Hellwig website does not show fit?

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee "Hellwig" Rear Sway Bar

Talked to a local offroad shop about it since they're an authorized dealer. They also confirmed the 7732 part # and that their catalog states it as a 1" diameter solid bar. They also mentioned it takes about 3+ weeks to get one since Hellwig builds to order.

I'm hoping someone that has bought/installed one of these can chime in, but can you confirm if it's a true 1" (25.4mm) diameter? Someone measured their SRT bar and it turns out it is actually slightly smaller than the 1" advertised, at 0.915". I found the Hellwig for cheaper than the OEM SRT bar so if it is also larger than the SRT bar then it's a no-brainer for me...

Does larger mean stiffer/better?

Yeah, as long as you're comparing apples to apples as in the solid SRT bar vs the solid Hellwig bar, and not solid vs hollow non-SRT bars. The Hellwig comes with poly bushings whereas I think all the Mopar ones are just rubber (not 100% positive), so that's another plus for the Hellwig.

Here's the Hellwig link :

Hellwig - Load and Sway Control Products

Will this work on a Quadra-lift suspension? Does anyone know what size the Overland has? And are there any other suspension upgrades for the QL?
