I just place my foot on the brake and then floor the throttle. Release the brake and your off....

Re: **JEEPGARAGE EXCLUSIVE! Launch Control tips & Facts! Raise and lower RPM's

same here, track mode (even though LC is suppose to do it), LC button, left foot on the brake, right gas pedal to the floor, release the brake, smile for the next 3.5-4.5 seconds, proceed to most likely turn around and do it again....

Re: **JEEPGARAGE EXCLUSIVE! Launch Control tips & Facts! Raise and lower RPM's

You do NOT need to put the vehicle in track mode before setting Launch Control. Launch control overides all settings to provide maximum launch acceleration. The vehicle will return to the state it was in prior to using Launch control after the throttle is lifted. When you push the Launch Control button, you will see the Select Track System light the Track Mode LED, this really means the suspension is set full firm. Launch control is a maximum acceleration mode and it is very different then the Track Mode calibration.

Re: **JEEPGARAGE EXCLUSIVE! Launch Control tips & Facts! Raise and lower RPM's

So I did this LC tweak last week and bumped my launch to the max and rocketed to 60 in 4.3 sec. Did it twice even to make sure it wasn't a fluke. 4.3 sec is Porsche Cayenne Turbo/S area for 1/2 the price.

I'm so glad I choose this Jeep!

Re: **JEEPGARAGE EXCLUSIVE! Launch Control tips & Facts! Raise and lower RPM's

I have 8200+ miles on her which equates to over 1500mi/month. There would be close to 10k on her but some douchebag hydroplaned into me when it was raining here just before Thanksgiving. If I had a knife on me, I may have stabbed that dude in the neck!

I just got her back less than a week ago after 35 days in the shop. The wheels took a bit to get (1.5 weeks) and the front headlamp had to be bought from Canada (2.5 weeks) as none were released to fix them anywhere in the US. Add in T-Day and X-Mas holidays...that's why it took so long. In fact, I'm still waiting on CF piece in the driver door to come in. Est month now is Feb 14 and first identified in Jun 13.

So...FYI, break your SRT GC, be ready to wait for it to be fixed as not all parts are readily available for it.
