Just test drove a 2015 SRT

- Awesome!
- Disappointed to find out that it does NOT come with power folding mirrors
- I built one at the dealership and they will get back to me on price.

We will see.

Make sure the 6-5 downshift is smooth before you buy it. Mines been a nightmare.

You test drove it ... you are getting one!

I was definitely disappointed about the lack of power folding mirrors as well but starting her up every morning makes that disappear!

Re: Just test drove a 2015 SRT

Be careful. I stumbled on this forum in January and a couple weeks later did a casual test drive of a 2015. Now, 4000 miles later I need a plastic surgeon to fix my perma-grin No kidding! Its absolutely my all-time favorite vehicle purchase.

By the way, not every new GC SRT has problems like it appears on the forums. My 2015 has been completely flawless so far (knock on wood).

Good luck with your purchase.

Re: Just test drove a 2015 SRT

I don't know how anyone could drive an SRT and NOT buy one. I can't imagine what will happen when the Hellcat version is introduced shortly...

I'm running slightly less power than the 6.2 hellcat and it's a beast...

Not much makes me happier than driving this thing..yes, power folding mirrors would be nice, but truthfully, not really needed. Driving it makes me forget about the things it doesn't have, or need!

Re: Just test drove a 2015 SRT

A heated windscreen (actually has tiny heater wires inside the glass) would be nice as well. My wife's Range Rover Sport Supercharged has one, and it is killler for cold climates. That, combined with the lack of folding mirrors, are my only complaints so far.

Power folding mirrors on my 14 in Oz, but we don't get wifi or remote start (which would be great to cool the car when you live in the out back)

Power folding mirrors can be added after the fact using my instructions. Not an easy mod, but if you are hell bent on having them you can do it. Several of us have added them. Still no good reason as to why the domestic SRTs don't have them as I can tell you we aren't saving any weight with the standard ones.

I am sure we will see pictures of your new ride shortly!
