K & n 2010

So i should be getting closer to delivery of my SRT ........hopefully...anyway i was about to buy some k & n 2010 oil filters to have in stock, i noticed the last one i put on wifes 300c seemed a little lighter...so looked close and it said made in Korea instead of usual USA.

Ok so lots of people are moving manufacturing overseas to cut costs, i dont agree with it as its jobs out the door as far as i'm concerned.....but that's a whole other can o worms to open....so long as quality control is kept in place all should be ok

Then i seen all the complaints about these Korean made filters...mostly on Amazon.....just wondering what your opinion / experience is guys!

You should really stick with the mopar oil filters. They arent expensive at all and you get the oem quality. Besides, your first 4 oil changes are free (at least theyre supposed to be).

Where does it say first 4 oil changes free? Must be a dealer thing.

The dealers in the Tampa Bay area give their SRT customers 2 years free maintenance which includes 4 oil changes. There is a dealer in south carolina (Gerry Wood) that gives free oil changes for life!

I thought the free oil changes were a universal thing throughout the lower 48.

The only thing i've heard about mopar filters (mostly on here) is they leak! a heck of a lot of Hemi owners use k & n because they was always first class....was just wondering what peoples opinions were with the new ones!

Re: K & n 2010

Yes, can someone please shed some light on this issue. Are Mopar Filters THAT bad ? My service center sells Mopar filters so I assume they install them as well, I will find out in my soon-to-come oil service.
