Looking to get a 2016 Jeep SRT

Hi Everyone, I currently drive a 2011 Subaru STi and my girlfriend drives a 2013 rwd dodge charger. However I moved in with my girlfriend in NYC and incase you didn't know parking is a real PITA even more so with 2 vehicles, one of which never gets driven, only gets driven twice a month (waste of money and can be allocated to other expenses). So we agreed to get rid of both of our cars. We need something that is practical, awd, sporty and automatic. The Jeep SRT seems to fit the bill quite nice, which I will be trading in my STi for.

1)Are there any issues that I should be made aware of? Like a common defect or something that has occurred a few times? Looking at a 2016 Jeep SRT Night Edition.

2)How much power is the stock motor capable of producing reliably? Not really familiar with these motors. My current car has every bolt-on and from the looks of it the srt doesn't have an overwhelming aftermarket selection but enough to satisfy me and not dump all my money on modifications.

Currently thinking about getting these mods later in the spring/summer

-AFE Sprint Booster

-AFE Headers

-AFE Catback

-AFE Intake

Thank you, your input is greatly appreciated!

So a 475hp SUV before all the mods you mention is now a practical decision?
Practical in New York would be a something more compact and AWD.

We get a lot of snow normally in NYC but this year has been an anomaly. The ground clearance will definitely help. Apart from gas mileage whats the difference if it has 475hp? Im sorry but the Jeep is a vehicle I love which is why I inquired about it, Im not the type to settle for a Nissan Juke.

I came from a Evo x making about 400awhp so very similar to an Sti and honestly I am more than happy with a stock srt. It has a lot of low end grunt and like mentioned above does fabulous in the snow with snow tires. You won't regret it. I hadn't had any major issues on mine so nothing to worry about

That's good to know, your ride looks awesome by the way. Are snow tires overkill you think? Wouldn't mind purchasing a set and using the 3 season tires. Wonder how good those stock 3 season tires are by the way.

Haha good to know I'm not the only one that has done a similar transition. Do you miss the evo at all? I'd imagine you miss it a little, I hope I don't miss the STi too much.

I live in south central KY...so no need here. Depends on the climate snd snow you get. Too warm here in winter.
